SoHo Taco Gourmet Taco Catering & Food Truck was just named, alongside with our buddies Taco Maria, as the #1 restaurants in Orange County by OC Weekly! In case you missed it, last year Gustavo Arellano named our catering operations the #2 restaurant of Orange County … (and all we did was catering back then!) Check it out here: OC WEEKLY: Gustavo’s Top Five Restaurants for 2010 And, more recently, another of OC Weekly’s esteemed food writers, Dave Lieberman, just named both SoHo Taco and Taco Maria as his #5 pick of Orange County for 2011. Here’s just a small portion of what he said: “Soho made it onto this list last year in the second slot with only a catering cart. They went public this year with a lonchera, and while the kinks are still being worked out (gotta invest in a better iPad haha), the food stepped it up even further under the guidance of chef Gabriel Zambrano–handmade tortillas, thick and comforting, a vicious salsa de aceite, and promises of even more to come in 2012. Plus? They cater weddings–AWESOME.”
