Last night Soho Taco had the honor of sponsoring the Newport Beach Film Festival where we had the privilege of providing some of our best tacos at the Latin Showcase Block Party, which was located around the beautiful koi pond at the Fashion Island mall.

With an estimated 900+ guest count and ours being the only company providing freshly-prepared gourmet tacos on site, let’s just say we were more popular than a director’s couch on casting day.  The line in front of our cart was GINORMOUS all night long!!

To help give everyone a chance to try our fare, we only gave one taco per person at a time – but repeat satisfied guests were more than welcome to jump back in line.  So, as a result the white hot demand lasted throughout the event.

At the end of the evening, we had to call it quits and had the heartbreaking task of turning away guests, including the CEO of the Newport Beach Film Festival himself Gregg Schwenk.  (Sorrrrryyyyy Gregg.  But, after a few hours of service we were out of tacos and we were just plain pooped!)
