In case you haven’t already heard, driving in SoCal next weekend may be quite unappetizing with the scheduled closure of the 405 Freeway definitely under way.

To add to the challenge, we here at Soho Taco Carmageddon Headquarters have a handful of taco catering events scheduled around the Los Angeles area during that exact time.  Since arriving late is never an option, we’re definitely dispatching the catering vans a lot earlier than usual to combat the onslaught of confused commuters.

Meanwhile, we can’t help but imagine that our freeway system will look a lot like the image you see above.  That is, just like mahi mahi sizzling on our grill, we can already picture the sea of cars parked on a hard, black surface grilling away under the hot summer sun.  Oh joy.

Anyway, it is what it is, right?  So, let’s make the most of it and try not to kill each other in frustration, ok kids?  Have a safe one and think happy thoughts next weekend. 😉
