Our very own Carlos & Eric serving up some goodness at a Whether or not you’re a believer, starting tonight it just might help to say a prayer or two to the patron saint of automobile drivers, Saint Frances of Rome. In case you haven’t heard, starting tonight at midnight the 405 freeway is going to shut down in both directions in the Mulholland Pass. So, the area is expected to be inundated with unwitting, poorly informed and/or masochistic drivers. We here at Soho Taco Camageddon Headquarters aren’t too particularly religious nor superstitious at all. But, this traffic situation is nothing we’ve ever heard of before and has the potential of complicating our taco catering schedules. So, we’re going to carry a rabbits foot, cross our fingers (heck, we’ll even cross our eyes) and maybe even shoot off some pleas to Sta. Frances in hopes that we arrive on time as promised. And, of course, leaving extra super early might help too. 😉 Meanwhile, we did have a great service last night in Irvine. Click here to check out our pictures on our Google+ page and here’s a quick video as well: It was definitely a beautiful, peaceful night yesterday. Hopefully Carmageddon weekend will be just as tranquil! May Santa Frances be with you!! |
