Today Southern California, tomorrow the world?!  Hey, we can dream right?! 😉

A few days ago one of our best buddies, food blogger and FIERCE cook extraordinaire Anita Lau of diary of a MAD HUNGRY WOMAN, was a featured guest chef at the prestigious and exclusive Kowloon Cricket Club (“KCC”) of Hong Kong. 

And, you’ll never guess who/what inspired one of her dishes?!

We here at Soho Taco Gourmet Taco Cart Catering are extremely proud to have been the inspiration for our favorite culinary expert’s featured dish “Soho Portabello Ensemble”! 

Just before she left for her trip, Anita met up with Soho Taco’s Chef Gabe who supplied her with a container of our secret blend of herbs and spices.  Then, on the day of she assembled top ingredients such as red & yellow bell peppers, sweet onions and tender baby spinach.  So, essentially Miss Lau created her own love letter to our wildly popular veggie taco!

Sure it looks great in the pic above, but how did it taste?  Anita proudly declares that it was “Deelish!”

Soooooo awesome!  We know excellent Mexican cuisine can be difficult to find in that part of the world and hopefully this wonderful creation gave the folks of KCC a welcomed sneak peak into our rich cuisine.
