One delight that’ll be on the food truck menu is our classic pollo asado (“grilled chicken”) taco.
Happy hump day, everyone! Here’s just a little progress update on our first gourmet food truck, which is coming along quite deliciously.
Recently we had our designer check her out (that’s our babe on the left), take some measurements and get the overall look and feel of what her new outfit is going to look like. Then, he’s going to the drawing board to whip up something that’ll surely make her runway ready. 😉
Also, a few of us will be getting together to hammer out the menu this weekend. Right now the plan is to have a set menu that’ll make our most popular taco catering items readily available like our pollo asado, carne asada, veggie tacos, etc. Then, we’ll also have rotating items which will be the “Chef’s Specials” that will show off our culinary best at that time.
And, of course we get to be our own guinea pigs and eats lots of exquisite experimental tacos. For science!!
As for the launch date – assuming nothing crazy or wacky happens – right now the goal is still late October, early November. That’s right, possibly next month. Can you believe that?!
Meanwhile, we do plan on having more tastings as well as some launch parties – both public & private. We definitely want to make sure our guests are having the best experience possible and your input would be totally appreciated.
