One doesn’t live by one taco alone! So, it’s always good to experiment and seek out new ones.
Yesterday, the brains behind SoHo Taco got together for our monthly Test Kitchen to try out a new handheld delight using atún ahi dorado (“seared ahi tuna”) as the principal ingredient. We are on the never ending quest for that perfect taco and this is our latest creation. Check out our pictures:
The grade of tuna was absolutely exceptional making for a buttery, flavorful protein. And, for this experiment, we seared it with some nutty sesame seeds and served it on one of our signature fresh, hand-pressed tortillas.
Admittedly, it’s not quite perfect yet. We still need to make a few adjustments and, well, eat more tacos. (Hey, it’s a tough job but someone has to do it!)
One thing’s undeniable: this is one BEAUTIFUL taco. The colors are absolutely breathtaking and the flavor combination is unforgettable.
Hopefully, we’ll work out some kinks and bring it to you soon. In the meantime, excuse us as we down a couple more of these delicious experiments. 😉
