Another unforgettable weekend is behind us and this last one was filled with wonderful celebrations throughout Southern California, including a beautiful fiesta up the coast.

Last Saturday we had the honor of providing gourmet taco catering for a fantastic wedding reception at the historic Casa de la Guerra of Santa Barbara CA.  Although we’ve already been to this scenic city on several occasions with our taco cart this is the first time we brought our food truck up the 101.  And, we had a great time!

Built in 1819, this venue was once served as the home of José de la Guerra, a wealthy and influential commander of the Spanish-Mexican era of California history.  Presently it’s impeccably maintained by the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation as a culturally rich museum and an ideal place for a wedding!

Throughout the evening we received very positive feedback from the guests complimenting the food, which absolutely energized us to keep giving our best.

In the end, we had an incredible time up in Santa Barbara. It truly was an honor to be part of this momentous event and to be taco catering at such an historic location. We would like to thank the bride and groom for selecting SoHo Taco and we look forward to serving everyone again soon.
