Just like a sizzling grill jam-packed with colorful & vibrant veggies, the weekend we just had was no less invigorating.  We were blessed to have had several private and public events all up and down the coast and what makes this interesting: this is our industry’s slow season!

For example, last night a couple of our guys returned the Stone Eagle Retreat in Malibu CA to provide some of our best taco catering for, well, a retreat held for one of the local Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu Academies.  We’re no stranger to the venue and we love coming here every time.  What made it even better was the wonderful people of the academy.  In fact, a couple of the guys were nice enough to pose with one of our cooks, Charlie.

In the meantime, our food truck was grilling up several mouth-watering plates at the Newport Beach Certified Farmers Market.   We were set up on one end of Lido Village helping to make everyone’s Sunday brunch especially delicious. What a great time we had there, too!

Meanwhile, we had plenty of other exciting events; from surprise parties to corporate functions and, yes, funerals.

Whew!

We definitely had a lot on our plate (excuse the pun) but everything went off without a hitch.  We hope everyone enjoyed their meals and we already can’t wait for next weekend.

We’ve got quite a few lunches in store during the week and then it’s the Santa Ana Art Walk on Saturday night.  It looks like we’re headed towards another incredibly vibrant weekend and we certainly hope you’ll be a part of it.
