Just last Thursday on December 7th, we had that the privilege and the honor to donate our services to our brave veterans for a wonderful Holiday Open House at the lovely Tierney Center in Tustin CA.

We were literally contacted just a few days beforehand asking if we would be interested in participating and we jumped at the chance. Our country’s veterans are the cornerstone of our country and what better way to help them kick off the festivities than with a donation of our food and services?

So, we alerted the kitchen, assembled the crew, made last minute arrangements and headed out to Tustin.

How did things turn out? Absolutely fantastic! But, don’t take our word for it, check out this wonderful five star review that we just received:

“I volunteered to organize the Veteran’s Holiday Event at the Tierney Center in Tustin. Care was taken in every detail; because we really wanted every one, of the close to 300 veterans, and their children to enjoy their evening.

After searching through countless reviews on Yelp; I really felt that Soho was just what we needed to make the event extra special. From the moment I first contacted them, to the end of the night, Soho Taco was amazing. Selene was my first point of contact; she is just an absolute joy, I just can’t say enough about her incredible customer service skills. It’s like having your best friend with, killer efficiency skills, in charge. Next, Andy Zambrano, one of the owners, personally called and stayed in touch, via calls, texts, emails and in person, through the whole process, to make sure we had exactly what we needed. Here is the really incredible part; I contacted them just 5 days before the event!!! You bet I was stressed; but once they took over the food details, I was able to put all my energy into the other details.”

“Now to the really important details….the food was incredible! I lost count of the people who approached me throughout the evening to let me know just how great the food was and how friendly the Soho crew was. My crew of volunteers also commented on how great the Soho crew was to work with.”

“My volunteers and I were so busy, that we didn’t get a chance to eat until the end of the evening. The Soho crew had packaged all the leftovers for us before they left; frankly we weren’t expecting the food to still be great; but we were hungry. We were all pleasantly surprised. Even as leftovers, the food had an incredibly fresh taste! The meats were still flavorful and moist, the salsas were fresh and tasty, and I have never heard so many people rave about chips…lol.
Everyone commented on the perfect rice and beans. Sitting down with my crew of volunteers, I couldn’t believe that they just couldn’t stop talking about the food, until I started eating…Wow.
