We’re only a few days into March and we’re excited to introduce our latest monthly special Taco Jardinero ($4.49 each).
In case you haven’t heard, once a month we feature an exclusive taco that you can only try at our food truck stops. It’s always something different but always made with love. And, this month is no exception.
One of the chief components of this month’s special is creamy, smoky grilled queso panela.
This time around we decided to go the meat free route and enjoy some incredible natural flavors. Make no mistake, just because this taco is vegetarian doesn’t mean it’s any less satisfying or flavorful. Far from it, it truly is an outstanding masterpiece we hope you enjoy.
For an added flavor dimension the taco is topped off with spicy salsa de Chile de Arbol.
El Taco Jardinero features a generous portion of grilled queso panela, diced camote del cerro (or “nagaimo root”), caramelized sweet chiles & corn, smooth crema, spicy salsa de chile de arbol and it’s all served on a fresh tortilla de albahaca (“basil”).
