It’s the day after St. Patrick’s Day and hopefully your green beer hangover isn’t too bad. It’s going to be another lovely Sunday here in Southern California and to help make it more delish we would love to tell you more about a new appetizer that we’ve been serving.

Pictured here on this blog’s featured image is our most recent instant classic Tostadita de Atún Picante appetizer. We served this treat at our tasting night which took place at our corporate headquarters a few days ago and they were gobbled up faster than you can say, “Give me MORE!”

Made with top quality, finely diced seafood incorporated with our housemade sauce, the spicy tuna mixture is layered onto a crisp, freshly made tostadita which is then topped off with salsa de guacamole made especially for this recipe. And, for the finishing touch, a few peppery microgreens top off the hand-held delight.

If you’ve ever had a spicy tuna sushi or spicy tuna roll, the seafood mixture is pretty similar to that but with a small Mexican influence in the flavors.

Nonetheless the combination of the smooth seafood with the crunch of the shell is absolutely outstanding. As a musical crab once said, things are definitely better down where it’s wetter take it from me.

Our Tostadita de Atún Picante is currently only available as part of our rich selection of appetizers created on the private catering menu, but once in a while it will make an appearance during tasting night.
