Well, hello there. If you’re reading this, that means your survived the weekend. Congratulations! Hopefully it was as enjoyable as ours.

And, how about our weather? Did you have a chance to take advantage of it? Sure, it was a bit on the cooler side for us here in Southern California, but it was essentially another perfect weekend.

Speaking of wonderful weekends, we just closed out another event packed three days helping countless people celebrate everything from weddings to birthdays to, well, celebrations of life. It seems everything went wonderfully smooth on our end, hopefully your did too.

Fortunately we still have some great eats ahead and today we’re bringing our food truck back to one of our favorite stops today: LUNCH 11A-2P The Met, 575 Anton Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

In case you haven’t checked out calendar out lately, you’ll notice we’re going to try out something new next Monday and we plan on being at The Met every Tuesday lunch throughout the month of May starting next week. It’s going to be a bit of an experiment so depending on how things turn out we just might do it again in June and so on.

That means we will be bringing with our some of our finest tacos all served on a fresh hand-pressed tortilla and our exquisite line of delectable salsas, like our voluptuous salsa roja.

This condiment might not be our spiciest one in our repertoire, but it’s definitely no less flavorful.

We start out with vine ripened tomatoes that we fire-roast in kitchen then we puree them with our special blend of herbs and spices.

The combination is a rich, smokey traditional salsa that super flexible and versatile, it goes great on anything from our succulent pollo asado to our juicy mahi mahi fish taco.

We have the great pleasure of making this classic condiment available at both our private catering events and our public food truck stops, so be sure to check it out the next time we see you.

In the meantime, we would like to thank all the wonderful people we served over the past few days. We had a terrific time and hopefully everyone enjoyed their meals as much as did preparing it.
