It’s FRIDAY! How was your week? Hope it wasn’t too rough. And, if it was, just put some guac on it! Not sure why, but everything seems goes great with a little salsa de guacamole, doesn’t it?

This traditional salsa is so versatile it goes great with anything. Got a plateful of tacos you want to take to another level? Add some guac! Just got served divorce papers? Add some guac! Can’t stand your noisy neighbor? Add some guac!

It’s no wonder the guest in today’s lead photo is slathering it on. Taken at last Saturday’s wedding rehearsal dinner in San Luis Obispo, you can see liberal amounts of our salsa on the both the carne asada and al pastor tacos, both were served on fresh hand-pressed tortillas. And, the whole meal was rounded out with a serving of our fluffy, fresh made Spanish Rice.

Featuring farm fresh avocados that we make in house and moments before each event, we then mix in some fresh diced tomatoes and our special blend of herbs and spices.

After combining all that you get a smooth, creamy wonderful condiment that truly complements almost anything on the menu. Heck, it even goes great on top of guacamole!

As for availability, it’s typically an upgrade on our private taco cart catering events, drop off deliveries and to go orders. So, if you have an event coming up and you’d like to make it especially velvety delicious be sure to contact your event coordinator and be sure to ask about adding to your special occasion.

On the food truck, we do offer it now and then for an extra charge. It’s not often that it makes its appearance there, but when it does it certainly gets gobbled up quickly.

In the meantime, we want to thank the lovely newlyweds who selected SOHO TACO for their special day at Greengate Ranch last weekend and for adding our signature salsa de guacamole to their package. Hopefully everyone one enjoyed laying it on thick as much as we did serving it.

As for our wonderful valued clients and guests coming up this weekend, we certainly hope to have the opportunity to serve up this silky condiment for you soon.
