Wow, it was really hot yesterday wasn’t it?! It was in the triple digits and long standing records were broken everywhere! And, today it looks like we’re headed for a bit more, which makes today’s lead image a bit appropriate, doesn’t it? Well, stay cool out there and be sure to hydrate.

Here at SOHO TACO HQ we grill rain or shine and today it might be shining pretty hard on us but it’s definitely no exception. We have several celebrations today and we definitely do not want to disappoint. So, our kitchen is working furiously to make sure we arrive at all events on time and well stocked.

In the meantime, the suns rays aren’t the only thing coming down on us lately. Recently we’ve been super blessed with several 5 star Yelp reviews and we couldn’t feel more humbled. By the way did you know we now have (at the time of this blog post) 312 Yelp reviews and a solid 5 star rating?! If you haven’t seen our profile yet, be sure to click here and check it out. Well, thank you very much, Kathy! We appreciate you taking the time out of your day yesterday to visit our Yelp profile and to spread the good word. We are absolutely thrilled that everything went so well and we certainly to have the opportunity to serve you again soon….. perhaps in San Francisco?! 😉 Who knows?!

On this steamy Saturday we have several more weddings that we will be catering and we hope they’re just as successful as the one we did for Kathy’s son. Our team is hyped the food is prepared, so the outlook is good.

On to other news and this is a bit of a reward for those of you who made it this far down in the blog. It’s not often readers get this far so here’s a little tid bit for our more loyal readers.

It looks like we might have a brick & mortar coming up soon. It’s super, crazy preliminary and it might not work out, but we’re hoping! If things do pan out it’ll be in one of the most upscale areas of OC and it may open up as soon as this September.

Again, it’s still early in the negotiations and anything can happen. But, stay tuned! Once things firm up and the ink is dried we’ll make a few exciting announcements hopefully starting next week. So, cross your fingers and stay tuned.

Meanwhile, things are definitely heating up today …. especially in Newport Beach (if you know what we mean). Stay cool and hope to see you in front of one of our grills later this evening.
