For those unfamiliar with this traditional Mexican beverage, an agua fresca is a sweet, light, non-alcoholic drink typically served by South of the Border street vendors, restaurants and at family events.  Basically, everywhere!

Flavors range from fruit based juices to even rice milk.  And, whether it’s a hot summer day or a cold winter night, it’s the perfect accompaniment to any meal …. especially gourmet tacos.

Here at SoHo Taco we principally offer it as part of one of our gourmet taco catering packages.  In fact, right now we’re offering it for free for February 2013 events (which were booked after 01/21/2013).

And, we do feature an agua fresca now and then on the truck, but often it’s on the menu at the very last minute.  So, do follow us on twitter for any surprise appearances!
