 the winners of the Golden Foodie Awards last night at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach, CA. Last night SoHo Taco’s team had the great honor and the distinct privilege of attending the OC Restaurant Association‘s first ever awards show at the Fairmont Hotel of Newport Beach. Check out our pictures!!  In case you haven’t heard, we were there representing our crew as we vied for the Best Tacos in Orange County award. Alas, we didn’t get it this year as our good buddies over at the extremely talented Sol Cocina won that category. (Congrats Chef Deborah Schneider!) Nevertheless, at the risk of sounding cliche, it really was incredible to have been nominated at all! Considering that we are just a humble little taco catering company and a food truck, it still boggles our minds that we were even compared to some of the best culinary minds in Southern California. Amazing! We want to thank the OC Restaurant Association for letting us be a part of an astounding evening and we’d like to congratulate all the winners and nominees.
