Cinco de Drinko is only a couple of days away but we’re already feeling the heat in the kitchen. Today we have quite a few meetings to help organize things and sort things out, but the pressure is definitely on.

What’s curious about all this is that the vast majority of our events tomorrow are not related to this obscure Mexican holiday. We have several birthdays, graduations and a handful of weddings and we couldn’t be more thankful. Isn’t that odd? Well, if you’re going to throw a party let it be on the biggest drinking holiday in the US, right?

Anyways, speaking of weddings, we just has the great pleasure of celebrating another beautiful nuptial at one of our favorite venues in the desert, The Cree Estate. Here’s a quick video showcasing all the fun.

We’ve lost count how many times we served at this sprawling estate, but we look forward to it everytime it pops up on the calendar.

If you imagine driving in the desert and coming across a beautiful ranch like property that a famous celebrity owned during the golden age of Hollywood, this would be the one. It’s wonderfully appointed, sophisticated yet California relaxed.

The venue is also an ideal location for our taco carts as it fits in perfectly with the surroundings. And, for this occasion we had the pleasure of serving an array of mouth-watering appetizers and a terrific line of our finest tacos all served on a fresh, hand-pressed tortillas.

We truly had a great time serving one for this occasion and certainly hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did. We want to thank the newlyweds for selecting SOHO TACO for their special day and we look forward to serving them and their loved ones again very soon.
