After a few minutes of sizzling on the grill, our buttery garlicky shrimp start to develop a thin crust signaling that it’s time to give it a flip. Speaking of good times, you made it! The weekend is here and it’s another gorgeous day in Southern California. Do you have any exciting plans? It looks like there are some incredible, historic marches taking place today both in Orange County throughout the country. If you plan on attending any of them be sure to be safe and stand proud. We wish we could march alongside you out there, but today we have some grilling to do. Hopefully we’ll get the opportunity to see everyone afterwards? Well, on this passionate springtime Saturday in March, we plan on dispatching several our carts throughout the Southland where we plan on grilling camarones like a protester grilling a politician today. Our shrimp starts out in a top quality batch delivered ocean fresh to our kitchen, where our hard working team peels and deveins the little critters, getting them ready for the various taco catering events scheduled later that day. We select plump shrimp for our signature tacos that we know will hold their flavor and deliver a juicy texture unlike any other. So, a lot of time and consideration goes into the selection process. Once our onsite cooks spots a deep orange color and when they start to curl a certain way, it’s time to flip them over. Then, it rests just a minute or two more and they’re ready to be served. Today we have several special occasions today where will be serving up this seafood lover’s delight, from a wedding in Pioneertown to a birthday celebration in Newport Beach. We’re definitely looking forward to serving everyone and we can’t wait to get started. So, whether you’re attending a protest or witnessing the exchange of marital vows (or BOTH!), be extra safe out there and hopefully we’ll see you in front of one of our taco carts very soon.
