Sunday was an exciting day for us as we helped celebrate the 9th annual OC Food & Wine Festival at the Marconi Automotive Museum. This was our fifth year participating and like always we had a GREAT time.

Enjoy many of the same great recipes that served last weekend today for lunch in Aliso Viejo: 11A – 2PM Summit Office Campus, 15 Enterprise Drive, Aliso Viejo CA.

In case you’ve never heard of it, the Orange County Food and Wine Festival is, first and foremost, a charity fundraising event intended to benefit young people locally and abroad. All proceeds from the event are donated to selected organizations that provide programs, both educational and health based, to young people of all ages.

At this super enjoyable event last Sunday guests enjoyed food, wine & craft beer from some of the top Orange County restaurants and California wineries from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles and the Santa Barbara area.

Additionally, those in attendance also enjoyed an interesting variety of gifts, products, travel and entertainment items given away during the silent and live auctions.

For this occasion, we donated a drop off catering package for 30 people anywhere in the greater Orange County area. We’re not sure who won our prize yet, but we know they’re in for a treat!

As for our menu on this date, we had the privilege of serving up some of our finest tacos all delivered on a fresh, hand-pressed tortilla. On hand were our savory carne asada, succulent camarones, dazzling veggie tacos and juicy pollo asado tacos.

We weren’t able to serve up any appetizers this time around, but hopefully we’ll get the opportunity to do so next time. Until then, given the tremendous feedback that we received it seems everyone enjoyed their meals!

Like we mentioned earlier, this is our fifth year participating and we couldn’t be more proud. It’s not only terrific to serve such warm and friendly people, but knowing it was all for a good cause just adds the cherry on top.

We would like to thank the fine folks of the Brea Rotary for inviting us back and the Marconi Automotive Museum for providing such a spectacular backdrop. It was truly and honor serving you and we hope to see you all again soon.
