[T]onight Fullerton is going to be extra-delicious and extra-cultural!

SoHo Taco has the great pleasure of being invited to bring our gourmet food truck to a very special occasion. And, in honor thereof, we plan on bringing out some special items that are very hard to find in Orange County!

Gustavo Arellano, Editor in Chief and staunch food critic of OC Weekly, will be holding his Barrio Studies symposium this evening at the Fullerton Public Library and you’re invited!

Here are the deets:

For this event, we’re going to prepare our exquisite taco “Barbacoa de Res”, a beef which has been stewed until tender and then blanketed with flavor from our housemade salsa.

Then we’ll be pairing this limited time only item with our “Chile de Aceite” salsa, which is a thick & spicy salsa made with roasted chili peppers and vegetable oil. CAUTION: it’s hot!

And, if the evening couldn’t get any better, we’ll be joined by one of our good friends and fellow lonchero Taco Maria. El Maestro Carlos Salgado is definitely one of the most talented chefs out there and his menu cannot be missed!

So, be prepared to fill your mind with cultural awareness and your bellies with outstanding Mexican cuisine. It’s definitely going to be an evening Fullerton won’t soon forget!
