May The Goddess Of the “Golden Foodie Awards” Smile Favorably Upon Our Gourmet Taco Catering Cart!

So the other day the  fine folks over at the OC Restaurant Association proudly released a press release announcing the very first ever Golden Foodie Awards, slated to take place around April of next year.   Pretty exciting stuff, eh?! Well, we perused the categories section of their website to see what was up for nomination and we noticed that a section for “caterers” was missing!

*Gasp!*

So, we fired off an email to the organizers politely asking them to include the hardworking guys & gals of our sector of the food industry in their illustrious roster.  After all, we do feed a huge portion of the community as well!

Well, faster than you can say “And, the winner is …..”, Tricia C. wrote back from headquarters saying:

“Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. We added in the category. We definitely don’t want to leave anyone out. :)”

Isn’t she delicious?!  Thanks soooo much, Tricia!!

Anywhoooo … since the awards were announced just days ago, nominations aren’t open yet and the categories are still in the works.  Meanwhile, keep a close watch on this prestigious occasion and when they do open noms for “best caterer” please try to mention a certain gourmet taco catering company that starts with the letter “Soho Taco”. 😉
