It’s Tuesday and you know what that means…. it’s not Monday anymore! Hooray, right? But, ok ok… it’s also #TacoTuesday, also something quite important so let’s taco-bout our March special.

What?

Anyway, in today’s image you see a cup of grilled queso panela that’s ready to be lovingly placed into our #TacoJardinero ($4.49 each), our exquisite special of the month.

In case you’ve never had it before, queso panela is a traditional semi-soft cheese that’s often found in Mexican cuisine for appetizers and such.

The good thing about his dairy product is that it holds up its shape pretty well on the grill. So, we can let is sizzle for a bit and toss it around and it still won’t break up or melt away. For a semi-soft cheese, isn’t that grate?

What? Remember, puns are not cheesy…. they’re gouda.

Like I was saying this is good stuff. This month’s taco is meat free, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less satisfying. And, the addition of this cow’s milk ingredient adds a wonderful flavor and texture that’s incredible on the palate.
