To say that Joshua Tree is one of the most beautiful locations in Southern California is truly an understatement. Its sweeping landscapes, tranquil atmosphere and zen like feel makes it a wonderful place to gather with friends and family.
Now and then we get asked to cater wedding receptions at this High Desert locale and we absolutely love it. It’s no less breathtaking every time we’re there and each occasion is unlike the last. Recently our love for this region was just rewarded with a 5 star review on WeddingWire by a happy customer:
Thanks, Nick! What great feedback and it’s no wonder. We absolutely adore Joshua Tree and our highly acclaimed cuisine is a perfect companion to the region. We’ve been out there several times over the years, so let us show you a couple of highlights. Earlier this year we had the great pleasure of dazzling taste buds at one of the best venues out there called The Station. For this occasion we were asked to bring two carts and serve up some of our best appetizers, which we did with great pleasure. We started out the evening with some of best bites such as our fresh made Rebanadas de Uvas, our savory/sweet Tostaditas de Chorizo y Guacamole as well as our exquisite tortilla chips and farm fresh salsas. Looking back at the images definitely reminds us of what a terrific set up it was and we really did have a great time. A few years back in 2014 we also served at another stunning location called the Shangri-La Cabin. For this occasion we served up several tacos on fresh, hand-pressed tortillas. If you haven’t had tacos on fresh tortillas, you really should try it. They truly bring out the wonderful flavors of the ingredients they helped carry. After this special occasion, we have had the honor to be invited back to this venue several times and I think we’re pretty much residents now! Sure, you might have to travel a dirt road or two to get there but it’s totally worth it. We think Joshua Tree is beautiful all year round but the best time to be out there is spring and fall. Around March’ish and after a period of heavy rains, flowers are speckled across the region and it’s absolutely eye-poppingly gorgeous. And, in the autumn the weather is as beautiful as it is mild. Perfect for an outdoor wedding reception. So, if you have any plans for a wedding, a reception, a special occasion or anything in between, we highly recommend Joshua Tree. Given the desert climate, it might need some special coordinating to pull of a beautiful outdoor soiree out there but it’s totally worth it. Hope to have the chance to grill for you in the High Desert soon! SOHO TACO Promo Video Please CLICK HERE to view video on YouTube. and visit our no obligation catering request form today! |
