Sure, we had another successful, record breaking weekend taco catering more than 25 events all over Southern California during a three day period. On the other hand, we had to cancel our food truck event last Saturday due mechanical issues – not fun.

However, one of our absolute highlights was meeting one of our personal heroes in the entertainment industry, celebrated actor Edward James Olmos!

Yesterday we had the great honor of taco catering for a beautiful birthday celebration right along the waterfront in picturesque Sunset Beach. And, it just so happened that the celebrant is a longtime grade school friend of Mr. Olmos.

Mr. Olmos was absolutely warm and hospitable, in fact everyone at the event was! Perhaps when you mix in great atmosphere, food, family and drinks, it’ll bring out the best in anyone.

For this very special occasion we did the works: appetizers, horchata, pineapple agua fresca, tortillas hechas a mano and, of course, our critically-acclaimed gourmet tacos. And, needless to say we received nothing but excellent feedback from everyone, including our favorite thespian.

We would like to thank our wonderful taco catering customers for allowing us to be part of their special day. And, of course, it was an absolute honor to have made the acquaintance of such a legendary artist. See everyone again soon!
