Yesterday, Paige M., of Miami Florida passed by our Yelp profile to give her account of the great time she and her loved ones had at her wedding early last month.

Adrienne helped with the details- she was incredibly easy to deal with and made great suggestions. The staff came early to set up and were very professional. The food was delicious… it was a crowd pleaser….Our guests loved the food!”

Now, keeping it real, this wasn’t an easy event namely because Mother Nature decided to give everyone a blow dry treatment. It wasn’t crazy cold or anything but it was definitely windy!

On this blog post are some of the photos we took of that wonderful event, which took place in the City of La Quinta at the luxurious Polo Villa Estates. [Originally Paige said in her review that her wedding took place in Palm Springs, but technically it was just next door in La Quinta, no biggie.]

Sure, everything may look calm and tranquil, but believe us there were moments when the winds huffed and they puffed and they tried to blow our cart down!

Our hard working crew did their very best to work with the elements making some of the appetizers, the tacos and the hand-pressed tortillas in some challenging conditions. But, they persevered because the show must go on!

Nonetheless, as the sun started to set the winds began to calm down and the festivities started to rise up.

At the end of the evening, it was business as usual and the weather started to cooperate again. It’s the desert after all and anything can happen. Fortunately, things turned out for the best at the end.

Once again we would like to thank Paige and her new spouse for choosing SOHO TACO for their special day. We know you had many choices, so we don’t take that lightly. Hopefully, we blew away the competition.

And, thank you very much Mother Nature for finally cooperating at the end of the night. Things definitely could have turned for much more difficult weather, but we definitely lucked out.
