Yesterday, during our incredible as always stop at the OC Fair & Event Center, we had a couple of unexpected happenings but still had an exhilarating and rewarding night.

First our generator lost power due to some weak batteries (which has since been fixed … yay!!). Then, we were absolutely slammed with greater than expected demand. So, we ran out of tacos faster than expected!

Fortunately, grilling in the dark didn’t affect the quality of our tacos. Food blogger Scott of Foodie In Disguise tweeted these kind words after having a few of our tacos:

In the end, it was definitely the best sales record we’ve had so far in our truck’s short life span. Sure, things could’ve been better, but at the end of the night it all worked out and that’s all that matters.

We want to send a BIG thanks to Son of Dogzilla for helping to jump start our generator. (You are as AWESOME as your food, Son!!)

And, we definitely want to thank everyone for putting up with a dark truck all night long and not being able to take credit cards. Sorry about that! And, see you guys again very soon … under better conditions, hopefully!
