This weekend we have the great honor of providing gourmet taco catering for five weddings throughout Southern California – and that is not by accident.

Blessed with one of the hardest working sales and marketing teams out there we are constantly networking and attending industry promos, like one such event in Huntington Beach a couple of weeks ago.

Last month we had the immense pleasure of attending a bridal expo next to the ocean at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency.  The event was jam packed with hundreds of brides & grooms, talented vendors and an infinite amount of fantastic wedding ideas.  Check out our pictures:

For this occasion our guys brought out a fully-assembled but non-working cart.  Naturally, fire codes prevented us from grilling indoors.  So, instead of cooking we served up plenty of our freshly made salsas and chips – and they were a HIT!

At one point the line to our cart for the scrumptious munchies was about 30+ people deep and at the same time we were surrounded by countless attendees with excellent questions about our food, service and concept.

At the end of the day, we went through close to a thousand business cards!  Expo goers weren’t just taking cards for themselves, but they also knew others who would enjoy SoHo Taco at their wedding or special event.  So, lots of people were taking them by the handful.

Needless to say, the event was an utter success and we had a terrific time mingling with the fiances, their friends and their families.  Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to bring an actual working grill to their events soon!
